Worked as a consultant for the development of Gourmet Garden International operations to set up facilities in the USA.  Worked closely with Senior US project team and liaised directly with the director. Tasks included equipment procurement and supply. Completed CAD drawings for specific site locations and factory layouts.  Major role in the factory design team with included flows and budgets.

Due to the ever-expanding operations of Gourmet Garden, a position was created to oversee all site services and operational projects. Projects included full project management, design, procurement, logistics, installation and commissioning.  The projects I was responsible for included Drying Lines, Automated thermal imaging control, Waste water and Refrigeration.  Managed all capital projects from concept to completion. Designed and modified machinery so that it was fit for purpose.

Due to the split in company I transferred solely to Gourmet Garden.  I was responsible for the entire  engineering department we set out modernize and implement a cutting edge maintenance management system (MEX).  Day to day I managed and set engineering and services budget. Managed all capital projects from concept to completion. Designed and modified machinery so that it was fit for purpose. Project managed the scale up of new products from concept to completion. Set up and commissioned the world's largest herb drying line. Helped create the new automation lines to streamline production. Managed 10 staff

2004 - 2006

 

Set up the Maintenance department and introduced a maintenance management system. General maintenance duties on fruit processing, aseptic filling lines, juice bottling lines and packaging equipment. Worked on the initial start up of Gourmet Garden, herb processing and washing and processing facilities. Tube filling lines . Set up all safety policies and procedures for the new Gourmet Garden site. Managed and set engineering and services budget. Managed all capital projects from concept to completion. Designed and modified machinery so that it was fit for purpose. Managed all capital projects from concept to completion. Designed and modified machinery so that it was fit for purpose. Worked on the deign, build and commissioning phase of the new state of the art Gourmet Garden manufacturing factory. Managed 5 maintenance fitters.
